50 Hours of Accredited Training
2 reports to be submitted, Parenting plan and Mediation summary report
method: roleplays, observe, co-mediate, readings, videos, practice skills and techniques.
Topics: parenting, financial CS, SS, property, high-needs and high conflict,
Tools; Practice Divorcemate, taking notes, interest and insight mediation approaches to change, effective theories of conflict and Human development and relations.

15 Hour Tapestry Training (Accredited)
Continuing education credits or for a designation with OAFM and ADRIO/ADRIC.
Course cost: $450.00+GST
Learning Objectives
1. Integrate client-centred approaches to Mediation.
2. Examining the client's process for change using client-centred models.
3. Working with clients’ ambivalence to change.
4. Empowering and supporting client’s belief that they are capable of change, have ideas and solutions, and can enact changes if they decide to. (MI)
5. Managing client resistance
6. Applying Reflective listening and Question crafting.
7. Talking with clients in a manner that promotes thoughts of the possibility for change and growth.

30 Hour -Supervised Practical Training For OAFM/ ADRIO OAFM
Saturday January 13th, Sunday 14th, Thursday January 19th, Saturday 20th
This Training is designed to focus on Interactive virtual lectures and demonstrations by Accredited and chartered Mediators. Students will participate and facilitate 2 Mediations, participate in role play and group discussion.

15 Hour Client Focus Approach for Mediators
Saturday October 28th, Sunday October 29th
Hours can be used for Continuing education credits or for a designation with OAFM and ADRIO/ADRIC. Overview of the four theories, MI, SFBT, Narrative and Mindfulness, how we can successful apply these to understanding our clients better and expand our mediation skills to work with client ambivalence about change, resistance to change by drawing out client motivation for change, safety to explore strengths competencies and goals to change.
